Unit: 2(Critical Thinking, Creativity and Innovation)                                         Class: 3rd Semester

Teaching Item: Concept of argument and it’s example

1.     Specific Objective:

At the end of this lesson, students will be able:

·      To interpret the concept of Argument,

·      To classify the types of argument,

2.    Instructional materials: Besides the daily use materials;

     PowerPoint presentation slides

3.    Teaching Learning Activities:

  •      Begin the session with today's topic with the help of pictures demonstration.
  •      Introduce the concept of Argument.
  •      Describe the types of argument in detail with the help of PowerPoint slides.
  •      After that, discuss different kind of real life argument by classifying them.
  •      Then, Address the confusion questions raised by students with the help of Q/A method.
  •      Summarize key points covered in the lesson.

4.     Evaluation: I will ask some question randomly in the classroom;

·      What is argument in your point of view?

·      Tell the different types of argument.

·      Tell any two example of good argument.

·      Tell any two example of bad argument.

5.     Homework:

Q.1 Write 1/1 example of good and bad argument.
