Lesson plan no: 29 Class: BICTE 4th Semester Date: 2024/02/26 Subject: System Analysis and Design Time: 50 min Unit: 7 Number of Students: 15 Topic: SITE Fundamentals

1. Specific Objective: At the end of this lesson, students will be able: • To understand the concept of SITE (System Integration, Test, and Evaluation) and its importance in system development. • To explore the objectives, process, and types of testing involved in SITE activities. 2. Instructional materials: • Daily uses materials • PowerPoint presentation slides 3. Teaching Learning Activities: • Welcome the students to the lesson and introduce the topic of SITE Fundamentals. • Define SITE as the process of integrating system components, testing their interactions, and evaluating system performance. • Discuss the importance of SITE in ensuring system functionality, reliability, and user satisfaction. • Present the objectives of SITE. • Discuss how achieving these objectives contributes to the overall success of the system. • Outline the process of SITE, which typically involves: system integration, testing and evaluation. • Provide examples of how successful SITE activities contribute to system success. • Introduce different types of testing that may be conducted during SITE activities. • Discuss the purpose of each type of testing and when it is typically conducted during the testing process. • Summarize the key concepts and insights discussed during the lesson. • Invite students to reflect on what they have learned and how they can apply it in their future studies or careers. • Encourage students to ask any remaining questions or share any additional thoughts before concluding the lesson. 4. Assessment: • Define SITE (System Integration, Test, and Evaluation) and explain its significance in system development. • Explain what SITE activities prove and provide examples to illustrate the importance of successful testing and evaluation. 5. Evaluation: Differentiate between at least three types of testing commonly conducted during SITE activities, and discuss the purpose of each type of testing.
