Class: 11 Period: 3rd
Topic: Information Security and Cyber Law Time: 45 minutes
Sub-topic: Cyber Crime and its examples

Specific Objectives:

At the end of this topic the students will be able to:

a)  Know and define about cyber crime.

b)  Say some cyber crimes seen in our society.

Teaching Materials:

Whiteboard, Marker, Book, Notes, Projector and Computer.

Teaching Learning Activities:

a)  At first, I will revise the topic which was taught last day within five minutes.

b)  Then I will start to teach about cyber crime and give some concept.

c)   I will define the term ‘Cyber Crime’ as mentioned below:

“Cyber crime are the criminal activities done using computers and internet. Cyber crime is carried out by individuals or organizations.”

d)  Likewise, I will also give some examples of cyber crime as mentioned below:

(i)            Email and Internet fraud

(ii)          Identity fraud

(iii)        Theft of financial or card payment data

(iv)        Cyber extortion (demanding money to prevent a threatened attack)

(v)          Cyber espionage (where hackers access government or company data), etc.

e)   I will also clear the doubt of the students if any.

Evaluation:

a) Say anyone crime that are done using computers these days.
