Specific Objectives:

At the end of this topic the students will be able to:

a) Understand the types of multimedia.

b) Know the hardware and software required for multimedia.

Teaching Materials:

Whiteboard, Marker, Book, Notes and Computer.

a) At first, I will revise the topic which was taught last day within five minutes.

b) Then I will tell different types of multimedia.

i.e. (i) Interactive multimedia

(ii) Non-Interactive multimedia

c) After that I will tell about various hardware and software requirements for multimedia.

Hardware: (i) High range of processor and motherboard

(ii) Sound card

(iii) Graphics card

(iv) High storage memory

(v) High resolution monitor

(vi) High quality digital camera

(vii) High resolution of scanner

(viii) Overhead projector, etc.

Software: (i) Adobe Photoshop

(ii) Adobe Premier

(iii) Sound Editor

(iv) Flash, etc.

d) I will also clear the doubt of the students if any.

a) Say any one example of non-interactive multimedia.

b) If there will be no sound card inside the computer, then what will happen?
