Subject: Computer Science Date: 2081/01/223
Class: 11 Period: 3rd
Topic: Information Security and Cyber Law Time: 45 minutes
Sub-topic: IT / ICT Policy in Nepal, Objectives and Strategies

Specific Objectives:

At the end of this topic the students will be able to:

a)  Know various IT / ICT policy in Nepal.

b)  Point out the objectives and strategies of IT Policy.

Teaching Materials:

Whiteboard, Marker, Book, Notes, Projector and Computer.

Teaching Learning Activities:

a)  At first, I will revise the topic which was taught last day within five minutes.

b)  Then I will start to teach the IT policy of Nepal one by one.

c)   Later, I will also tell its main objectives like:

(i)            To make IT accessible to the public and increase employment through this means.

(ii)          To build a knowledge-based society.

(iii)        To establish knowledge-based industries.

d)  Then after, I will tell the strategies of IT policy also like:

(i)            Place Nepal on the global map through IT.

(ii)          Legalize and promote e-commerce.

(iii)        Assist in e-governance by using IT.

(iv)        Promote IT industries, etc.

e)   I will also clear the doubt of the students if any.

Evaluation:

a)   Say any one IT policy of Nepal.

b)   Say any one objective of IT policy.
