  • to differentiate between raster scan and random scan systems.

Teaching Learning Activities

  • I will start the lesson by asking students what they know about scanning system. Encourage them to share their thoughts and experiences.
  • I will introduce the topic of scanning systems in computer graphics.
  • I will present a multimedia presentation on the architecture of raster scan systems and Random scan systems and illustrate with its advantages and disadvantages.
  • List out the differences of Raster Scan and Random Scan System in detail with the help of PowerPoint slides.
  • I will ask stidents if they have any confusion related to today topic and at last i will summarize the lesson in brief.

Assessment

Assign a group activity where students analyze case studies of graphic design projects and determine whether raster or random scan systems would be more suitable.

Evaluation

Differentiate between Raster Scan and Random Scan System.
