Lesson Outline:
Introduction (3 minutes):
- Briefly introduce Microsoft Word and its importance in document creation and editing.
- Explain the learning objectives for the lesson.
- Open Microsoft Word and discuss the different components of the interface (ribbon, toolbar, document area).
- Demonstrate how to create a new document and save it.
- Discuss the importance of file naming and organization.
Text Formatting (10 minutes):
- Explain how to format text: font, size, bold, italic, underline.
- Guide students through changing the font color and highlighting text.
- Encourage students to practice formatting text in their own documents.
Basic Editing Tools (10 minutes):
