Objective:

Introduction (5 minutes):

  3. Explain that today they will learn about what an operating system is and why it is important.

Definition and Functions of an Operating System (15 minutes):

  3. Discuss the functions of an operating system:

    • Mobile operating systems (e.g., Android, iOS)
  2. Discuss the differences between desktop and mobile operating systems in terms of devices they run on and their user interface
