Teaching Learning Activities
1. I will begin the class by defining color models as mathematical representations used to define and create colors.
2. Then discuss the importance of color models in 3D graphics for rendering realistic images.
3. Introduce RGB, HSV, and CMYK color models as common color representations in computer graphics.
4. Present the characteristics and properties of RGB, HSV, and CMYK color models, including color representation, and color mixing.
5. Discuss the advantages and limitations of each color model in different applications.
6. Ask students to experiment with different color transformations and observe the effects on the perceived colors.
Assessment
1. Explain Gouraud shading algorithm.
2. What is Phong shading? Write the advantages and disadvantages of it.
3. Compare and contrast among Constant shading, Gouraud shading and Phong shading.
