Computer Virus

Class: 6 Topic: Introduction To Computer Virus

Time: 10 Minutes

Period: 1st

Number of Students: 12

Specific Objectives:

  • By the end of this 10-minute lesson, students will be able to identify different types of computer peripheral devices and understand their functions.

Materials:

  • Whiteboard and markers
  • Images of various peripheral devices (keyboard, mouse, monitor, printer, etc.)
  • Projector (if possible)


Introduction (2 minutes):

  • Begin by asking students what they know about computers and peripheral devices. Discuss the basic function of a computer


Conclusion (2 minute):

  • Summarize the main points about peripheral devices and their functions.and its role in processing data.


Main Activity (5 minutes)::

  • Display images of different peripheral devices on the screen.
  • Ask students to identify each device and describe its function. For example, "What is this device called? What is its purpose?"
  • Discuss each device briefly, emphasizing its role in input, output, storage, or networking.
  • Encourage students to think about how these devices are essential for the overall functionality of a computer system.

Assessment:

  • To assess understanding, ask students to name one input device, one output device, and one storage device. This will gauge their comprehension of the different types of peripheral devices.
