Introduction (5mins)

Begin by engaging students with a brief discussion on what they think programming languages are and why they are important in computer science.

Overview (15mins)

  • Define programming languages as formal languages used to communicate instructions to a computer.
  • Introduce Algorithm
  • Introduce FLowchart

Classroom Activities(15mins)

  • Students will given a question to write an algorithm to add any two numbers

Conclusion (10mins)

  • Summarize key points discussed in the lesson.
  • Distribute students online resources where they can explore various programming languages further.
  • Encourage students to reflect on the importance of understanding different programming languages for their future careers or interests in computer science.
