- Define what transitions are: visual effects that occur when moving from one slide to another in a presentation. - Discuss the purpose of transitions in presentations: to maintain audience engagement and highlight key points. - Show examples of presentations with and without transitions to demonstrate the difference.
- Exploring Transition Effects (15 minutes):**
- Demonstrate how to apply transition effects to slides:
1. Open a blank PowerPoint presentation. 2. Select a slide and go to the "Transitions" tab. 3. Choose a transition effect from the gallery. 4. Preview the effect by clicking on the slide show button.
