Background :

Shree Saraswati Secondary School is located at Saraswati Sthan,Changunarayan Nagarpalika, 08 , Bhaktapur. This School is located right beside the stairway to Mahamanjushree temple. 8 anna of land was donated by Shree Manjuratna Bajracharya as a contribution to social workers Raghunath Timilsina, Nograj Timilsina, Nandaprasad Adhikari to establish the school in 2013 B.S .In 2017, Magh,04 the school was completed which help a lot of nearby students and the school was named as Shree Saraswati Primary School. In 2032 B.S. , the school was upgraded and become Lower Secondary School(NI.MA.VI) and futhermore, the school upgarded and become Secondary school(MA.VI) approved in 2036 B.S . And in the first time, this school took SLC examination. Later on, the school upgraded as Higher Secondary School in 2069 B.S. And nowadays, this school is known to be Secondary school(MA.VI) which start from class playgroup to class 12.

This school include 3 buildings and 2 teaching centers.. Building1 contains 13 rooms, building 2 include 8 rooms and building 3 includes 3 rooms and 2 temporary teaching centers contains total of 4 rooms. Building 1 has a occupied total land of 0-8-0-0, building 2 and 3 has a occupied total land of 1-12-0-0.

Furthermore, the school has played a vital role in bridging educational gaps and providing opportunities for underprivileged students. • Establishment in 2013: Shree Saraswati Primary School was founded in 2013 B.S and completed at 2017,Magh,08.
• Location:This School is located at Saraswati sthan, Changunarayan, 08 covering a total land of 8 annas.
• Educational Activities: Shree Saraswati Secondary School operates various educational activities, providing education from early grade playgroup to grade 12.
• Expansion to Lower Secondary: This School expanded as Lower Secondary in 2032 B.S. and known as Shree Saraswati Lower Secondary School.
• Expansion to Secondary: This School expanded as Secondary in 2036 B.S and took SLC for the first time officially and known as Shree Saraswati Secondary School.
• Expansion to Higher Secondary: This School expanded as Higher Secondary in 2069 B.S. offering classes from grade 11 and onwards.
