Briefly introduce Microsoft Excel and its significance in organizing data and performing calculations. Discuss real-world applications of spreadsheets in various fields. Overview of Excel Interface (10 minutes):
Open Excel and explain the main components of the interface: Ribbon Cells, rows, and columns Worksheets and workbooks Formula bar Data Entry and Formatting (15 minutes):
Demonstrate how to enter data into cells. Explain formatting options, including changing font styles, cell alignment, and cell borders. Discuss the importance of clear and organized data presentation. Basic Formulas (15 minutes):
Introduce basic Excel formulas such as SUM, AVERAGE, and COUNT. Guide students in creating simple formulas for calculating totals and averages. Cell Referencing (10 minutes):
