Discuss how application software serves specific user needs and tasks. Programming Software: Definition and examples (Compilers, Interpreters, Integrated Development Environments). Explain the role of programming software in creating other software applications. Classification based on Purpose: Categorizing software as per their functions (Productivity, Multimedia, Communication, Entertainment, etc.). Discuss examples within each category. Evaluation : tell students to read and write the purpose of each software they classified.
