Specific Objective:

At the end of the class, students will be able to:

1. Understand and develop the concept of password
2. Select password for their user id.

Teaching Learning Activities:

After entering the class, I will inform today's topic Password and Password selection. At the first phase, I will ask students to what is password? I will listen what they say about it. Then I will explain as it is a key to protect your data from unauthorized user. I will define the various name of password, such as PIN, Passcode etc. Then I will say write a password as your choice for your Gmail Account. I will write their statement. Then I will explain the use of password such as banking account with its importance. I will show the image related with password and its components. Then I will tell them upper case, lowercase character and special symbol such as @, $ etc. for setting password. At second phase I will explain weak password, medium password and strong password. I will provide examples of weak type password, medium type password and strong type of password. At the end I will terminate class.

Evaluation:

1. Write a strong password for your Gmail account.
2. Why password is importance?
3. Suppose your password is S@1378-*HAY, find the missing character for suitable password.
