Topic: Availability and Network Flooding

Specific Objectives:

At the end of the class, students will be able to:

1. Define and understand concept of network Flooding
2. Explain the types of network flooding in network security.

Daily Usage Materials, Laptop, PowerPoint slide, multimedia

Teaching Learning Activities:

After entering the class, I will do the following activities to make effective teaching environment.

1. At the first phase, I will discuss about previous topic (Denial of Service). I will revise if it is necessary. And then I will inform today's topic Availability and Network Flooding.
2. At the second phase, I will tell them about the network flooding, explain as disaster of data in network security or lost data from many causes such as attract, unable, virus etc. I will show them chart and picture from the slide, how data are attracted from the third party.
3. At last phase I will ask question related flood, if they understand or not.

Evaluation:

1. Define the network flooding with it's types.
2. What are the causes of the flooding in network security?
