LESSON OUTCOME: to introduce students to the concept of computer software, its types, and its importance in our daily lives.

Materials Required:

  • Whiteboard/Smartboard
  • Projector
  • Internet connection
  • Laptop or computer

Introduction (10 minutes):

  • Begin by introducing the concept of computer software to the students.
  • Explain that software is a set of instructions that tells the computer what to do and how to do it.
  • Discuss the difference between hardware and software and their roles in the functioning of a computer.

Types of Computer Software (20 minutes):
