  • firstly , introduce the internet and give some definition.
  • Student / teacher will discuss the some terms used in internet.
  1. URL (Uniform Resource Locator): Definition: Web address that specifies the location of a resource on the Internet. - Example: https://www.example.com
  2. Browser: - Definition: Software used to access and navigate the World Wide Web. - Examples: Chrome, Firefox, Safari.
  3. IP Address (Internet Protocol Address): - Definition: Numeric label assigned to each device connected to a computer network. - Example: 192.168.1.1
  4. DNS (Domain Name System): - Definition: System that translates human-readable domain names into IP addresses. - Explained with a simple diagram.
  5. HTTP/HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol/Secure): - Definition: Protocols used for transferring data between a web browser and a website. - Emphasis on the "S" in HTTPS for secure connections.
  • then method to opening Microsoft Edge are given below.
  • Go to the start menu.
  • Type Run and open it.
  • Type shell: start up and click ok.
  • Go to the Start Menu >Search Edge>Right click>
  • Right click Edge >press copy.
  • Go to the startup folder when you ran shell: start up> Right click>paste.
  • Click on "all apps"
