Topic: ER Model in Database Management

1.    Specific Objective:

At the end of this lesson, students will be able:

•       To list out the components of ER model
•       To draw simple ER model of a College Management System

2.    Instructional materials:

•       Daily uses materials
•       Index paper pieces
•       PowerPoint presentation slides

3.    Teaching Learning Activities:

•       At the beginning of the session, I will tell the students about today's topic and objectives.
•       Then, I will ask students what ER model is and list out the components of ER model?
•       After discussion, I will show the power-point slide of Components of ER model and explain about it with examples.
•       Next, I will create an environment to play fill in the blanks game.
•       Then I will add some additional concept and let students ask questions about this lesson and response them.
•       At last, I will end this session with very short summary of today's discussion.
