Teaching Learning Activity
- Begin a class by discussing about the MS Excel and importance of Microsoft Excel in organizing and analyzing data
- Introduce key terms: workbook, worksheet, cell, column, row.
- Demonstrate how to open Microsoft Excel and create a new workbook.
- Guide students through the process of adding and renaming worksheets within the workbook
- Demonstrate how to enter data into cells and basic formatting options, such as changing font styles, sizes, and cell alignment.
- Introduce cell formatting tools like borders, shading, and text color.
- Introduce simple Excel formulas like SUM, AVERAGE, and COUNT and dmonstrate it with examples and allows students to practice in thier computers.
- Guide the students to entry data in cell ,formatting and working with formulas.
- Summarize the key points covered in the lesson: workbooks, worksheets, basic formatting, and simple formulas.
- Encourage students to ask questions.
Evaluation
- What is workbook and worksheet?
- Enter these data in cell in column A and find sum and average by using SUM and Average function ? Also count the numbers of data entry?
