1. Specific Objective:
At the end of this lesson, students will be able:
· To define Operating System
· To identify the primary functions of an operating system.
2. Instructional materials:
· Daily uses materials
· PowerPoint presentation slides
3. Teaching Learning Activities:
· Begin the lesson by asking students if they know what an operating system is.
· Encourage them to share their thoughts.
· Define an operating system and provides various services for computer programs.
· Conduct a brief class discussion or a quick quiz to reinforce key concepts.
· Ask questions like: What is the main purpose of an operating system?, Can you name any desktop or mobile operating systems?, How does an operating system manage computer memory?
· Summarize the key points discussed during the lesson.
