Background

Shree Okhreni Secondary School, located in the touristy destination of Okhreni in Kathmandu, was established in the year 2019. Since its inception, the school has undergone relocations to various places such as Majhgaun, Chilaune, Moolkharka, and Ganeshsthan. Currently, it is situated in Ward No. 1, Sahidghat, Sundarijal under the Gokarneshwar Municipality.

Covering an area of approximately 15 ropanis, the school operates various educational activities with ample physical infrastructure. With a distinct educational quality, it has earned recognition as a model school in the Kathmandu district. The school, spanning from early childhood development to grade 10, operates within a 15-acre area.

Since its establishment, the school has been dedicated to providing quality education to all students, especially reaching out to those with limited access and facilities. From early childhood development to grade 10, the school has been successful in establishing itself as a model educational institution in the Kathmandu district.

Addressing the local demand and needs, the school expanded its educational services from the academic year 2077, offering classes from grade 11 onwards. The school has gained trust and confidence in its commitment to providing quality education to its students. The belief and expectation are that students will have the opportunity to study in their own neighborhood school, fostering a sense of belonging and trust in the educational journey of the Shri Okhreni Secondary School.
