1. Specific Objective:

At the end of this lesson, students will be able:

To describe the process creation and termination mechanisms in an operating system.
To identify the significance of process operations in managing system resources effectively.

2. Instructional materials:

Daily Usage Materials,
PowerPoint Presentation Slide,
Laptop,
Projector etc.

3. Teaching Learning Activities:

I will enter the classroom and engage with students, highlighting the importance of understanding process creation and termination in operating systems to enhance their problem-solving skills and system efficiency.
I will initiate a discussion by asking questions such as: - What is a process in the context of an operating system? - Why is it important to manage processes effectively?
After that, I will open the PowerPoint presentation and provide a comprehensive overview of process creation and termination, covering topics such as: - Definition and characteristics of processes - Process creation mechanisms - Process termination techniques I will explain each process in detail through a diagram.
Throughout the presentation, I will encourage students to take notes and ask questions to clarify their understanding.
To reinforce their learning, I will summarize the key points discussed and highlight their practical implications.

4. Assessment:

During the session, ask questions like,

Can you explain the difference between process creation and process termination?
How does the operating system manage resources during process creation?

5. Homework:

Research real-world examples where effective process creation and termination strategies have improved system performance.
