Objective : By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:
- Understand the basic functions and features of Microsoft Word.
- Create, edit, and format a simple document.
- Utilize basic tools such as spell check, grammar check, and formatting options.

Teaching learning activities: I. Basic Overview of Word Interface (10 minutes)
A. Open Microsoft Word on the computers. B. Demonstrate the different parts of the Word interface: ribbon, document area, ruler, status bar, and navigation pane. C. Explain the purpose of each component briefly.
II. Creating a Simple Document (15 minutes) A. Guide students through the process of creating a new document. B. Show how to enter and edit text using the keyboard. C. Teach students how to navigate within the document using arrow keys, mouse, and keyboard shortcuts. D. Explain how to save and name documents.
Evaluate : Observe students' participation during the lesson and assess their understanding through completed exercises and responses to questions. Additionally, you can assign a short quiz or project to evaluate their comprehension of the basic concepts covered in the lesson.
