- Review the previous days lesson or ask the student.
- Student/teacher will discuss concept of virus.
- A virus is an infection microbe consisting of a segment of nucleic acid (either DNA or RNA) surrounded by a protein coat. A virus cannot replicated alone: instead ,it must infect cells and use component of the host cell to make copies of itself. Bacteria are single cells that can survive on their own, inside or outside the body. Viruses causes infection by entering and multiplying inside the host healthy cells.
