- Describe the services of the internet
- Explore the common terms of the Internet.
Materials:
- Whiteboard an markers
- Computer
- Internet-enabled devices for each student or group
- Handouts
Introduction:
- Begin with a brief discussion about the internet: What is the internet?
- Introduce key terms: www, ISP, MODEM, Router, website etc.
Activity
- Discuss the role of Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and data transmission through servers.
- Show a simple video or animation explaining the process of sending and receiving information over the internet.
Assessment:
- Evaluate student participation in discussions and activities.
